This 24-storey development has over 920 residents, so we had to design a gym to cater for all. It is an unmanned facility, so user safety had to be a primary consideration. We installed a pin selected smith machine which can be used safely without supervision. The pin selected smith machine does not require weight plates, so space efficiency was also maximized. We included dual purpose machines to maximise output in a fairly small space.

These included a 3 position multipress machine, leg extension-curl combo and an assisted chin-dip. All resistance equipment was finished in a custom camel Bentley stitch upholstery and the dumbbells were a custom set finished in marine grade stainless steel. All of this was tied together with premium cardio equipment from Technogym which had 21” touchscreen consoles and pre-loaded class and guided workout experiences.
