This student development has over 600 residents, so we had to design this gym space to cater for all. It is an unmanned facility, so user safety also had to be a primary consideration. We installed a pin selected smith machine and custom multigym which can be used safely without supervision. The pin selected smith machine does not require weight plates and the multigym can facilitate 6 different exercises in a 6m footprint, so space efficiency was also maximized. All resistance equipment was finished in a custom camel Bentley stitch upholstery and the dumbbells were a custom set finished in marine grade stainless steel. All of this was tied together with premium cardio equipment from Technogym.
